Android Email Setup

Step-by-step instructions for setting up your Noble Schools email on an Android device.

Android Email Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to add your Noble Schools email account to the built-in email app on your Android phone or tablet. These steps work for most Android devices; your menus may look slightly different depending on your phone model.

Option A — Use the Gmail App (Recommended)

  1. Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
  2. Tap the menu icon (three lines, top left) → scroll down and tap Settings.
  3. Tap Add account.
  4. Select Exchange and Microsoft 365 (not "Google").
  5. Enter your Noble Schools email address (e.g. jsmith@nobleps.com) and tap Next.
  6. Enter your password and tap Next.
  7. If prompted, allow the app to set up your account automatically. If it asks for server settings, see Option B below.
  8. Accept any device policy prompts (these are required by the district for security).
  9. Your email will begin syncing. Tap Done.

Option B — Manual Server Settings

If the automatic setup fails or asks you to enter server details, use these settings:

Account type Microsoft Exchange / ActiveSync
Email yourname@nobleps.com
Server outlook.office365.com
Domain nobleps
Username yourname@nobleps.com
Port 443
Security type SSL/TLS

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

When signing in, you may be prompted to approve a sign-in via the Microsoft Authenticator app or receive a text code. Make sure you have MFA set up before adding the account on a new device. See the Set Up Two-Factor Authentication article if you have not done this yet.
